  • skinless chicken thighs
  •  fresh thyme leaves
  • garlic cloves, minced
  • freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • low-sodium soy sauce
  •  olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • 1. Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken thighs, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • 2. Prepare the steamer: Boil water in a pot and set up your steamer basket over it.
  • 3. Steam the chicken: Place marinated chicken in the steamer basket in a single layer. Cover and steam for 20-25 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  • 4. Optional sizzle: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steamed chicken for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • 5. Serve and enjoy: Garnish with fresh thyme or lemon wedges and serve immediately.
