  • ripe bananas, sliced
  •  unsalted butter
  • brown sugar
  • granulated sugar
  • all-purpose flour
  • baking powder
  •  eggs
  • vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round baking pan.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter with brown sugar until bubbly. Pour this mixture into the baking pan and layer the sliced bananas on top.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until combined. Gradually add to the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  • Pour batter evenly over the bananas in the pan.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow cooling for 10 minutes before flipping onto a serving plate.
