Ingredients
  

  • eggs
  • granulated sugar
  • all-purpose flour
  • baking powder
  • vanilla extract
  • Gel food coloring (various pastel shades)
  • cream cheese, softened
  •  heavy cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Gently fold in sifted flour and baking powder until just combined.
  • Stir in vanilla extract. Divide batter into bowls and add gel food coloring to create desired pastel hues.
  • Spoon dollops of each colored batter onto the prepared baking sheet, swirling gently with a spatula.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before flipping onto powdered sugar-dusted parchment.
  • Beat cream cheese and heavy cream until fluffy. Spread over cooled cake and roll tightly from one end.
