Ingredients
  

  •  peeled and sliced Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples
  • brown sugar
  • rolled oats
  • all-purpose flour
  •  ground cinnamon
  • unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Peel, core, and slice the apples. Toss them in the slow cooker with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the apples evenly.
  • In another bowl, combine oats, flour, and melted butter until crumbly yet cohesive.
  • Layer the oat mixture over the apples in the slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until bubbly and golden brown.
