Ingredients
  

  • beef steak (sirloin or flank)
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • eggs, beaten
  •  panko breadcrumbs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • Oil for frying (about ½ inch deep)

Instructions
 

  • Slice the beef steak into strips about one inch wide, cutting against the grain for tenderness.
  • Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one bowl with beaten eggs, and a third bowl with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Coat each steak strip first in flour, then dip it in eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Carefully fry the coated steak strips in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer cooked fingers to paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
