Ingredients
  

  •  beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • low-sodium soy sauce
  • brown sugar
  •  cloves garlic, minced
  • fresh ginger, grated
  •  sesame oil
  •  rice vinegar
  • green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain and gather all ingredients.
  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
  • Place the sliced beef in a resealable bag or bowl and pour the marinade over it. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated beef in batches for about 3 minutes per side until browned.
  • Remove beef from the skillet and add any leftover marinade; simmer until thickened.
  • Return the beef to the skillet and coat with sauce. Serve over rice or stir-fried vegetables and garnish with green onions.
