Cheesy Bacon Quiche with a crispy hash brown crust, savory bacon, sharp cheddar, and rich egg custard—perfect for brunch, breakfast, or meal prep with a comforting twist and elegant presentation.

Ingredients
  

  • frozen hash browns thawed and drained
  • butter melted
  • garlic powder
  •  salt
  • black pepper
  •  bacon cooked and crumbled
  • cheddar cheese
  •  eggs
  • milk or half-and-half
  •  green onions chopped (optional)
  • salt
  •  black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Hash Brown Crust:Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan.In a mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.Press the hash brown mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared dish to form a  crust.Bake the crust for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Filling:In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.Layer the cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over the baked crust. Sprinkle green onions on top if using.Pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring it spreads evenly.
  • Bake the Quiche:Return the quiche to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set and no longer jiggles when gently shaken.
  • Serve:Allow the quiche to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
