Instructions
Prepare the Beef:In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce:In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and chicken or beef broth. Set aside.
Cook the Beef:Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and just cooked. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
Cook the Vegetables:In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir-fry the broccoli, garlic, onion, and carrots (if using) for 3-4 minutes, or until the broccoli is crisp-tender.
Combine the Ingredients:Add the cooked noodles and beef back into the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over the top and toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through, about 2 minutes.
Garnish and Serve:Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately.
