Ingredients
  

  • boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • smoked paprika
  • salt
  •  black pepper
  • olive oil
  • butter
  •  egg noodles or pasta of choice

  • heavy cream optional, for extra richness

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Chicken:Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise (if large) to create thinner cutlets.Season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F/75°C). Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Buttered Noodles:In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds, until fragrant.Add chicken broth, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.Stir in uncooked egg noodles, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.Stir in heavy cream (if using)
  • Finish And Serve:Slice or return the chicken to the pan, nestling it into the noodles.Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm!
