  •  paprika
  •  garlic powder
  •  ground cinnamon

  •  lemon cut into wedges

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prep the Chicken and Sweet PotatoesPreheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).In a large bowl, combine olive oil, turmeric, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs, making sure to coat them evenly.Add the sweet potato cubes to the bowl and toss them in the remaining oil and spices.
  • Step 2: Roast the Chicken and Sweet PotatoesPlace the chicken thighs on a baking sheet or roasting pan, skin-side up.Arrange the sweet potatoes around the chicken, ensuring they’re evenly spread out.Squeeze a few wedges of lemon over the chicken and potatoes.Roast in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the sweet potatoes are tender and caramelized.
  • Step 3: Serve And GarnishRemove the chicken and sweet potatoes from the oven.Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve with extra lemon wedges for added freshness.
