  •  boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • olive oil
  • Italian seasoning
  • garlic powder
  •  salt
  • black pepper
  •  butter
  •  garlic minced
  • heavy cream
  • whole milk
  •  Asiago cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  •  salt
  • black pepper
  •  nutmeg optional, but adds depth
  • package cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Extra grated Asiago cheese

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Grill the ChickenPreheat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.Coat the chicken breasts with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
  • Step 2: Cook the TortelliniBring a large pot of salted water to a boil.Add the tortellini and cook according to the package instructions (usually 3-5 minutes for fresh tortellini).Drain and set aside.
  • Step 3: Make the Asiago Alfredo SauceIn a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring constantly.Gradually whisk in the Asiago and Parmesan cheeses until fully melted.Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using).Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring often, until thick and creamy.
