Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients: Thinly slice the steak and season lightly with salt and pepper. Peel and cube the potatoes into bite-sized pieces for even cooking. Slice the onion and mince the garlic.
Layer in the Crockpot: In your slow cooker, layer the cubed potatoes, sliced onion, and minced garlic. Place the seasoned steak slices on top of the potato mixture. Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients. Sprinkle with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the steak is tender and the potatoes are soft. Stir gently halfway through cooking if possible.
Add the Toppings: During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the dish. Cover and let the cheese melt. Once the cooking is complete, stir in half of the crumbled turkey bacon and half of the green onions.
Serve and Enjoy: Ladle the steak and potato bake into bowls. Top each serving with a dollop of sour cream, the remaining crumbled turkey bacon, and a sprinkle of green onions. Dive in and enjoy the rich, comforting flavors of this loaded dish!
