chicken or turkey broth
long noodles, spaghetti or egg noodles work well
carrots, sliced
celery stalks, sliced
onion, diced
cloves garlic, minced
olive oil
dried thyme
bay leaf

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions
Heat the Oil: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, and sliced celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
