  • 4 thick slices of brioche or challah bread

Instructions
 

  • Wash and slice the strawberries; set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix half the strawberries with sugar until syrupy.
  • In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture for about 10 seconds on each side.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place one slice of soaked bread in the skillet, add the strawberry mixture on top, then cover with another slice. Cook both sides until golden brown.
