Ingredients
  

  • Uncooked penne pasta
  • Water for boiling
  • Salt for pasta water
  • Salmon (skinless, boneless)
  •  Butter
  •  Onion, diced
  • Heavy cream
  • Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  •  Sea salt (or to taste)
  •  Black pepper (or to taste)
  •  Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta:Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté the onion:In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 4-5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  • Cook the salmon:Add the salmon to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it into flakes with a spatula as it cooks.
  •  Make the sauce:Pour in the heavy cream, add salt and pepper, and stir well. Turn off the heat to prevent overcooking.
  • Combine everything:Add the cooked pasta, Parmigiano Reggiano, and chopped parsley. Mix everything thoroughly until the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Garnish and serve:Sprinkle with additional cheese and parsley before serving. Enjoy warm!
