Ingredients
  

  •  pecan halves
  •  crisp corn cereal (like Crispix)
  • unsalted butter
  •  packed light brown sugar
  • light corn syrup
  • vanilla extract
  • baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine cereal and pecans in a large bowl.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in brown sugar and corn syrup, and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes without stirring.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
  • Pour caramel over the cereal mix and toss until evenly coated.
  • Spread onto the baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Cool completely, break into clusters, and store in an airtight container.
