Ingredients
  

  • French bread, halved lengthwise
  • olive oil
  • thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  •  green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • onion, thinly sliced
  • cloves garlic, minced
  • salt
  • black pepper
  •  paprika
  •  Worcestershire sauce
  •  shredded mozzarella cheese
  • shredded provolone cheese
  • butter, melted
  • garlic powder
  • fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak, then remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the bell pepper, onion, and garlic in the same skillet until softened. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with the steak.
  • Brush the bread with melted butter and garlic powder, then toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
  • Top the bread with the steak-veggie mixture and sprinkle cheeses evenly.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with parsley.
